Richard Moore, Author, Journalist and former Racing Cyclist
Success and the Future
From the world of cycling, Richard will share his vision to challenge thinking, change attitudes and create more winners by inspiring young Scots to fulfil their sporting potential.  Using the turnaround achieved in British cycling over the last ten years as a case study, he will share the radical thinking which was key in reaching the current standard and promote the need for innovation to ensure that the trend continues upwards.

The Secret of Success
David’s silver medal success in canoeing (C1) in Beijing was the ultimate accolade of his career so far but has only inspired David to do more and he is making history by training to compete in two events – C1 and C2, in London 2012.  Find out more about how he achieved his success, the challenges he faced and his personal view of how he can contribute to driving a ‘culture of winning’ programme in Scotland.

 

There will be Q&A opportunities after each of the above sessions. 

The programme also includes CPD workshops, discussion groups, sports development projects showcase (Highlights in the Highlands), an activity session, and a lively exhibition area.  Residential delegates will have access to the leisure facilities on site and all delegates can arrange access to leisure pursuits in the wider Aviemore area.
